Photographing your pet
I generally work from colour photographs. These can be photographic prints, or, as is more usual these days, sent as digital attachments over the internet to my email address. Please do not send photos taken with mobile phones.
Most of my work is of portrait type paintings, i.e. head and shoulders rather than of the complete animal. It is therefore important that the supplied image should give a clear view of the eyes and nose, also indicate the colour and texture of the coat. Please also try to keep the background as simple as possible.
Remember, the better the photo, the more accurate the painting.
